Invitation to Dumpling Festival Celebration

 

Gan Clan Singapore will be organizing its Dumpling Festival celebration on 31 May 2014 at our Auditorium. Other details for the evening are as follows:

 

Date:                      31 May 2014 (Saturday)

Time:                      6.30 – 10.00 pm

Venue:                   Auditorium on Level 3

Program:               Serving of dumplings, musical performance by modern contemporary group led by Ms Pink Gan and accompanied by a live band. This program is multi-generational and suitable for the young and not-so-young.

 

This year, the celebration takes on a modern twist at Gan Clan Singapore whilst maintaining the tradition of serving dumplings and Chinese tea. There will be live musical performance for everyone’s enjoyment.  

 

On that evening, Ms Pink Gan, undergraduate of Singapore Raffles Music College and champion of various talent competitions in China will perform. She had even organized a musical show at Victoria Street in 2013.

 

Ms Pink Gan will lead a six-member group playing the erhu, zhong hu, pipa, yang qin, clarinet and piano accompanied by the live band to present an exciting performance for everyone’s enjoyment. For this performance, their repertoire consists of modern and classical numbers.

Besides enjoying the dumplings and catching up with members of the Gan community, you will be treated to a sumptuous buffet dinner and entertained by our very own young talent.
